The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a TCM-Based Sound Therapy designed to help improve wellness. Your involvement in this research involves completing online polls/surveys and listening to the sound therapy in a relatively distraction-free environment.

Benefits and Risks of Research
The project involves no more than minimal risk to any participant. Steps will be taken to ensure that all information gathered will be held in strictest confidence. Receiving the sound therapy is the primary benefit you as a participant, other than helping with scientific research. Only the data collected from the participants who fully completed the sound therapy and all surveys/polls will be considered viable.
Your participation in this project is voluntary and you are free to withdraw your consent and discontinue participation in the project at any time without penalty. You are free not to answer any questions that you do not wish to answer.
By completing registration for this trial I understand the following:
-That even if I agree to participate now, I can withdraw at any time without fault.
– That if I withdraw from the study I will forego access to sound therapy trial
-That if I do not complete the polls/surveys and/or sound therapy, my data will not be viable for in this research
Criteria for General/Online Participation
By completing registration for this trial, I attest that I fit the following criteria:
___ I am 18+ years in age
___ I am physically and mentally able and willing to listen to the sound therapy via headphones
___ I am physically and mentally able and willing to complete the surveys/polls for this trial
___ I am willing and able to give detailed insight/feedback about my experience during the trial
___ I am committed and able to being present for the entirety of the trial at the appointed time
___ I have uninterrupted access to a computer, lap top, or other device for survey fulfillment
___ I have access to an online connection suitable for streaming the trial on this Zoom webinar
___ I have access to headphones suitable for listening to the sound therapy via Zoom webinar
___ I have access to a space where I can remotely participate in the trial relatively undisturbed.
___ I speak, write, & read English proficiently enough to complete surveys/polls within this trial
Use of Information and Data Collected
Information collected in this study will be anonymous and utilized in aggregate form only. These data will be widely disseminated through a variety of methods including publications, presentations, and data sharing.
Confidentiality of Records
In order to ensure the confidentiality of records, the research will not retain any identifying information post data collection. The results will be reported in aggregate form only. Your contact information will be collected registration and trial-access purposes only; this contact information will not be utilized otherwise.
Participant’s Rights Information
If you have any questions concerning your rights as a research participant, you may contact the chair of Yo San University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research for information or assistance.
